The Range Rover lineup is composed of vehicles that manage to threaten the German SUVs. The Range Rovers give consumers a high-class feeling whiile at the same time, it offers some serious specs. Some details of the new Range Rovers are controversial but it can compete against the best models from Audi, BMW and Mercedes. The competition gets fiercer in the aftermarket industry. The latest Range Rover has definitely gotten the attention of the tuners. In fact, Range Rover’s four-wheel-drive Vogue model has completed an intensive training program at Projekt Kahn’s workshops.

The tuning company has revealed the Range Rover Vogue Black Edition, with the modification package consisting of tweaks to the exterior, the interior and its technology. The latest project from the aftermarket developer is centered on the 3.6 TDV8 model.

The vehicle received a new exhaust system and a set of Kahn 22-inch RST rims. It also got a custom body kit that includes a two-piece front fascia, new side vents that use a chrome finish, a three-piece rear bumper, an eight-piece wheel arch pack, new side skirts, and a satin black finish for the door handles. It even has a bonnet air vent that has the same color as the body.

As we said before, it's that time when everyone starts rolling out their year-end "Best of" lists and revisits their favorite rides of 2010. Top Gear is in on the action, naming its annual award winners. Its list, as you can see, is diverse and loaded with forbidden fruit (at least for those of us in the U.S.)

Buyers can choose between 22- and 23-inch wheels, but Hamann thinks you should take the bigger set claiming it gives the car "a truly sporty appearance".

Two power upgrades are offered, the first of which optimizes the ECU by removing the factory-installed 250 km/h (155 mph) speed-restriction and increases power to 610 hp and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft).

For those who think that more is better, Hamann supplies the HM 670 kit, which, besides the ECU tweak, comes with a sports muffler and catalysts. In this case, peak power is 670 hp, accompanied by 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque, constant between 1,500 and 5,650 rpm. According to Hamann, the Flash Evo M can reach a top speed of 300 km/h (or 186 mph).

A sports suspension kit that lowers the ride height by 30 mm and larger brakes (405 mm front and 340 mm rear discs with 6- and 4-pot calipers, respectively) round off the performance upgrades.

Inside, there's a Hamann sport steering wheel as well as a modified speedometer, which maxes out at 320 km/h (199 mph). As with every Hamann-tuned vehicle, there many additional options, like special leather for the seats, combined with Alcantara, carbon fiber panels, aluminum pedals and stainless steel sill plates with illuminated Hamann logos.
